St Mark's College


St Mark's is a university residential college affiliated with the Universities of Adelaide. It welcomes students from all regions across Australia and overseas and provides a friendly, supportive and stimulating environment in which undergraduate students can live, study and grow, both intellectually and personally. Set in spacious and beautiful heritage grounds, St Mark's offers students both single study bedrooms and shared apartments. In addition, the College has an outstanding library, wireless Internet access, communal study and social spaces, a fully equipped gym, tennis courts, Junior Common Room, Ballroom and Chapel. At St Mark's, students enjoy an environment that enhances university education with strong academic support, extensive pastoral care and a wide range of extra-curricular activities.


St Mark's College offers two types of Cowan Grants:


Type 1: Scholarships of up to $7,000 assist with board and residence costs at St Mark's for University terms for one full year only. These scholarships are designed to allow rural or regional-based students who would otherwise be unable to afford tertiary education in Adelaide to obtain one full year at St Mark's. Some further assistance may be available in subsequent years.
